   About this Waterfall
Rating: 2/5  Size: Small Access: Moderate Type: Low Cascade

Waterfall Region: Greater Toronto    County: Wellington    Near: Everton

Watercourse: Eramosa River   Latitude, Longitude: 43.6613, -80.1539

(What do these stats mean?)

The little cascade at Everton is challenging to photograph. It is fairly small and winds its way through narrow bedrock notches. This is proof that a small marginally-photogenic waterfall can be very interesting to explore. Look for large potholes in the rock, high above the current floor of the river. And there are also some remnants of an old stone mill that once stood here, including an intact mill race arch... which is fortunately well-hidden in the woods. The abandoned mill building on the far side of the river should not be entered. It is unsafe and on private property.  (updated June 20, 2014).
