Lake Huron Region - Waterfall List

Maps Featured Falls Full Roster

By the numbers, this is the smallest waterfall regions in Ontario. There are few waterfall deserts in this area, as the bedrock is covered in many places by >30 m of soil. Windsorites have to drive two hours before finding one (Rock Glen and Mystery Falls).

But what this region lacks in numbers, it makes up for it in quality. The falls that cross the Niagara Escarpment here are cleaner and less-impacted than those in the GTA and Hamilton. Inglis Falls should be on everyone's list, and favourites like Hoggs Falls and Sauble Falls never disappoint.

Rock Glen offers a great spot for a family hike and picnic, complete with fossil hunting. But to get the most bang for your buck, plan a trip to Owen Sound. In addition to some great ones in the city (eg. Jones Falls , there are many others on the way, like Walters Falls.
