   About this Waterfall
Rating: 2/5  Size: Small Access: Remote Type: Low Cascade

Waterfall Region: Eastern    County: Hastings    Near: Kennaway

Watercourse: Mink Creek   Latitude, Longitude: 45.2112, -78.1228

(What do these stats mean?)

A long low tumbling woodland cascade, possibly only accessible by water. It's just south of Moffat Pond, which is a small lake north of South Little Mink Lake. A gravel road appears to lead north off Peterson Rd at a point about 3.5 km east of the York River. This leads to the north end of the pond. It may also lead to an accesss driveway to the Algonquin Eco Lodge, which is much closer to the falls... but I'm not sure. This looks like it might be interesting to exploer, but difficult to photograph. Mink creek drops 30 m over a less than 500 m, on it's way to South Little Mink Lake. The terrain looks gorgeous.  (updated June 20, 2014).
