Also referred to as the Preston Cascade. This is a very small waterfall in an attractive setting. The falls are only a metre or two high at most. They spill into a small bay in the river, which is soon deflected off to the left by a rocky peninsula. This gives a great place to set up your camera, or to take a seat and relax. The rocky areas may be flooded during higher flows.
From the road looking at the river, you can hike in along the right hand side of the river. There is only a weak path, but the distance is not far at all, and you should be able to hear the falls from the road.
