Featured in our book. These two waterfalls are just outside of downtown Ottawa, just north of the Byward Market. They are found immediately east of the National Research Council building on Sussex Drive. I found parking on one of the residential streets to the east, perhaps Stanley or John Street. Here, the Rideau River falls over the steep cliffs along the Ottawa River. The rock face behind the falls has been reinforced with some concrete.   (updated June 20, 2014).
