Watercourse: unknown watercourse   Latitude, Longitude: 49.0567, -87.9728

(What do these stats mean?)

Photos on Google Earth show that there are several waterfalls in this area, probably on different streams that flow west over a high escarpment. I think that this is known as the Palisades. If you are from this area, and know something about this geologic feature, please let me know. The area can be accessed by a gravel road leading north from Hwy 17, about 20 km or so east of Nipigon. There appear to be numerous small waterfalls in quick succession on some of these creeks. The bedrock appears to be dominated by red tones, making for great photography. I want to check this out sometime!  (updated June 20, 2014).
