Batchewana visit this falls! This low bowl-shaped waterfall is about a 20 min drive from Hwy 17 along Tribag Mine Road. Some locals refer to this as 'Tribag Falls'. I have not visited yet.
The good news is that the waterfall is right beside the road. It is a moderate sized cascade with a bowl-like appearance, where water converges below the falls Have you visited? Can you help to improve this entry? Please let me know.
NOTE: This site is coded yellow because it requires visitors to have the right vehicle and experience to manage secondary bush roads. There is active logging in the area, and drivers may encounter large trucks coming at speed. Washouts are possible, there are no signs, and cell phone service drops soon after leaving Hwy 17. The area is at least 45 minutes from Hwy 17.
Expect the possiblity of flooding in wet spring conditions. At the junctions encountered at 2.5 and 3.3 and 5.5 km along the route, the road that leads to the falls is always the one on the right. The falls are an additional 2 km along this route.
Some people have told me that they drive most of the way, but park off to the side of the road and hike the last 1 to 1.5 km.
