Batchewana visit this falls! So do I. But this is a tough one, and is only suitable for adventurers with experience and the means to explore the backcountry.
The road that leads to the first Batchewana Falls extends quite a ways further inland. I've been told that the road starts to deteriorate after the first falls, although it is clearly visible on aerial photography. At least for most of the way. This looks like a job for an ATV.
This waterfall is coded yellow because it is reachable by land, but could be very tough to access. The road is certainly not passable in a regular car. Please let me know if you find it.
Unlike the 'main' falls to the south, the waterfall is not right along the road. You would have to hike about 100 m to the east. A GPS would be really handy. Anyone that chooses to visit this site should plan ahead and does so at their own risk.
NOTE: This site is coded yellow because it requires visitors to have the right vehicle and experience to manage secondary bush roads. There is active logging in the area, and drivers may encounter large trucks coming at speed. Washouts are possible, there are no signs, and cell phone service drops soon after leaving Hwy 17. The area is at least 45 minutes from Hwy 17.
