This a gorgeous waterfall that falls in several stages. Completely forested and with reliable flow, it's a real beauty. The steep hills that make the site difficult to explore are also responsible for some steep waterfalls! I found that the different falls took on completely different appearances depending on the angle that I used for my photograph.
NOTE: When I first visited in 2002, there was a home on this property and I knew that it was private property. The falls were visible from the road, although forest regeneration is making this more difficult. Fast forward to 2023 and the home is long gone. What is left behind is beautiful, though there are steep hills on the way to the falls.
I have seen the falls posted in various resources, and have heard from more than one local person hat people visit all the time without incident. The land is may still be privately owned although I didn't see any signs, fences or notifications for people to stay away. At minimum, you can visit and get a nice view from the road.
NOTE: this web site does not give anyone permission to trespass. This web site also does not instruct you to visit this property.
This waterfall is coded yellow because it may be situated on private property. The falls are included here for now because it was understood that visiting is tolerated. Visitors must heed any signs that may appear. If you are from the area and can provide an update, I'd appreciate any tips.
