This rather large, complex cascade is found about 35 km north of Ear Falls. This is a long way from most everywhere else! But the road looks wide and straight, and so is probably still fairly reasonable to reach. The falls is split in two by an island that is almost 100 m wide. This makes it difficult to explore the entire site.
The east branch of the falls are located less than 50 m west of the road. I imagine that there is probably a path, but can almost guarantee that the roar is easily audible from the road. The total fall is maybe 10-12 m, and even though this isn't the most vertical of waterfalls, it covers a lot of ground.
This falls is coded as yellow because of its remote nature and my lack of information about visiting. I selected 4 stars because the site looks pretty extensive. This could arguably be 3 stars too if exploration and photo options are limited. Have you visited? What do you think?
The falls may be at risk of development for hydroelectric power. Have you visited? Can you provide more details?
