Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.
Warning: Waterfalls are dangerous - You aren't permitted to use this site unless you read, understand and accept the Website Disclaimer

While this falls is less busy than some of the better-known waterfalls in Hamilton, it can be just as beautiful. A true, tall caprock plunge, the falls are about 15 m high. The site gets fewer visitors, but also has less infrastructure. Note that during the summer, heavy vegetation growth can make it hard to see the whole thing.

Visitors must be careful around the crest of the falls, as there are no safety fences. There is parking at the Rock Chapel parking lot, which is about 400 m south of the falls. A dirt path follows the roadway up to the waterfall.

This waterfall is featured in the 'Waterfalls of Ontario' book. Please pick up a copy to learn more. This helps to support this project. NOTE: To cross the bridge to the far side of the gorge, visitors would have to walk a short distance on the road. The road is not very busy, but anyone choosing to hike along the road does so at their own risk.
