A long, low set of cascades, this is a picturesque spot that is easily accessed. The main falls are about 200 m upstream from the Hwy 557 bridge. On the way up stream from the road, there are several smaller cascades and boulder gardens that can be left almost high and dry during summer.

Enroute, there is also a broad, slide-type waterfall that one has to walk across on the way up the trail. Not to worry, the water was only a few millimetres deep the last time that I visited. It may dry out in warmer periods.

The trail follows along the north side of the river, and one can choose to stay up high for a panoramic view, or down lower to get close to the river. The main falls are about 3-4 m high. The river comes in from the left, falls over a long roll-shaped exposure of rock, and then makes an abrupt right turn before flowing downstream.

I parked in the gravel area immediately north of the bridge. There is a sign with information about the area. Pleae note that land on the south or left side of the river is private. This is the side on the left, as you look upstream.
