This small rapids is found on the South River, about 6 km upstream from Lake Nipissing. It is found in a small pocket of agricultural land, and is landlocked by private property. The falls are only a metre or two high, but fairly vertical and about 30 m wide. I've seen photos with good flow, but also read reports that it dries down a fair bit during a warm summer.

If you have a canoe or kayak, this site is one the easier 'water only' waterfalls to visit. Paddlers have used a boat launch about 800 m downstream of the falls, at Chapman's Landing. Watch for the bend to the left in Chapman's Landing Road. Instead of bending, keep straight to continue on a very short dead-end street that leads right to the boat launch. The driving directions point to this road.
