Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.
Warning: Waterfalls are dangerous - You aren't permitted to use this site unless you read, understand and accept the Website Disclaimer

Reported by a long time Facebook group member, this very small cascade is located about 80 metres from Contau Lake Rd. You can see it across a small round bay, where the river widens and slows after flowing through the falls.

Unfortunately, the land around the falls is privately owned, and it is impossible to visit this site up close. This website does not give you permission to trespass. This falls has a pleasant backdrop, and a decent enough photo can be taken from the road.

This waterfall is coded yellow to emphasize that it is visible from the road, but cannot be visited up close due to private property.

I don't have a photo of this waterfall that was taken from the roadside. Can you contribute one to this web page?

Waterfalls of Ontario Project

This project has been online since 1999, in print since 2003, and on social since 2011. (See archives: 2003, 2012, 2018). It was the first to inventory and map Ontario's waterfalls for recreational purposes. With your continued help, it grows. Learn more...
