A decent sized slide falls at the outlet of Cooked Lake. Water pours out of this lake through a short channel of the Namakan River, before draining to Iron Lake.
The total fall is about 4-5 m. The bedrock has been beautifully smoothed by millenia of erosion by the river, and probably also by glacial ice. This falls is found on the international border, and is thus shared with the State of Minnesota.
If you've paddled Quetico or can provide a photo for this website, I'd appreciate anything that you can contribute to this website.
