This really gives a new meaning to the term 'roadside waterfall'. You could almost touch this one from out your window! Dewitt Falls isn't big, and is often dry. But it's vertical and when caught at the right time, would give a pretty picture.
Like most wet-weather falls in Hamilton, wait for wetter periods of the year, like spring or maybe later in fall. If there is a rainy period for several days, go check this out.
The only place to park is on the side of rhe road, right in front of, or beside, the falls. Anyone that chooses to park and get out of their car does so at their own risk.
