Just when you thought that the trip to Dog Falls was excellent, there's more! The Kaministiquia River has a bunch of treats remaining upstream. By continuing to hike upstream from Dog Falls you will encounter a number of smaller, but bonafide waterfalls.
The first falls is found just about 300-400 m upstream from the main "Dog Falls". Another 600 m or so upstream leads to a series of smaller cascades, some larger than the others. Someone should really get out and catalgoue each one of these.
The driving directions lead to the trailhead to Dog Falls. From this point the hike It is about 1.5 km long, going north and west to the water surge tower, and then northwest to the river.
This site is coded yellow because it is somewhat remote, includes uneven ground and requires a moderately strenuous hike. There are no safety railings.
