About East 18 Mile Falls
This is a small plunge waterfall, no more than about 1m high. It is found at the top of a long, difficult, rocky gorge that seems a lot bigger than it should be given the size of the falls. There is a small widening of the road shoulder in which you can park. Look for a trail heading down into the valley on the east side of the road. Cross the first tiny creek and then hike up the second creek gorge to the little falls. This is tough going, so don't bring your kids. Also, the land beyond the gorge is a private campground, so please be discrete and don't trespass. I can't guarantee that the route to the falls is public lands, so please watch for signs.
