Located at the southwestern end of Elliott Lake, on the opposite end from the town. The elevation from Elliott Lake drops about 6 m during its drainage to Quimby Lake.
I have not visited this waterfall yet. It's my understanding that visitors are able to drive to within about 1.8 km of the falls, but that the last part of the 'road' must be hiked. Year ago, I heard from someone that made the trip in a jeep.
One of the problems here is that all of the backroads in the area are mapped as 'Frame Crescent' by Google Maps. People that know where they are going can probably find this with ease; the rest of us risk getting lost as there are no road signs.
NOTE: The following information is meant as a headstart only. Any peson using it does so at their own risk. Access to the backroad area starts at an unnamed road on the west side of Hwy 108 at 46.4073, -82.6701. The driving directions lead to the parking spot. These roads are mapped by Google Maps, and appear reasonable on the aerial photos. From this point, the winding road to the falls is also mapped by Google Maps, but is very deteriorated, and barely visible on aerial photos.
This site is coded yellow because it requires travel on poorer quality roads that do not have signs and are all labelled with the same name. The last two km of the route must be hiked unless you have an ATV.
