About Eugenia Falls

Eugenia Falls is a fairly well-known waterfall. The waterfall is tall, vertical, and very pretty when flowing well. But since water is diverted for hydroelectric generation, the flow can be very low during summer and fall. Expect to pay to park, but the falls is easily visited after just a very short walk from the parking area. Stay on the "safe" side of the stone wall, since the vertical cliffs here are easily 30 m high! 2021 UPDATE: Unfortunately, following events of the COVID lockdown, there are restrictions at this site. You are no longer able to access the gorge. This is really too bad, as the view from below is gorgeous. The trail was very long and challenging. Also, I believe that you are no longer able to follow the trail to the far side of the falls. Hopefully these restrictions are temporary.
