There are several small falls on this stretch of Fairbanks Creek. Even though the falls are close to the highway, the creek bed is overgrown with thick brush in some places, the banks are steep, and there are lots of boulders to clamber over.
Not the easiest place to navigate, but on the flip side you won't get lost! There are several different angles to capture, though all are located within this same location.
NOTE: Crean Hill Road was recently re-aligned (around 2021?) and is now lined with guardrails up and down the road. While traffic is usually light, there may be no place to park and maneouvre. A very small break in the east guardrail is located immediately across from the falls. It may be possible for some people to park at this spot.
This site is coded yellow because there is very little room to park and manouvre. It would also require crossing the road. While not too busy, cars come at high speeds. Anyone that chooses to visit this site does so at their own risk.
