This is marked as a 'medium waterfall' on mapsbyjeff.com . I have not seen any photos and don't know how big it really is. Notes on Jeff's map explain that there are no longer any campsites along this part of the upper Bonnechere. Visiting this waterfall is only recommended for experienced paddlers that plan ahead.
Farley Mowatt was a famous Canadian author and environmentalist, selling more than 17 million books. Perhaps his best-known title was 'Never Cry Wolf'. I don't know if this is an official waterfall name or perhaps one assigned by the paddling community.
