This waterfall is just visible from the crest of the much bigger, more visitable Decew Falls. Water drains out of several small holes constructed into the side of the gorge of the larger falls.
I'm not sure of the source of the water, but I assume that it has something to do with the construction of the nearby Decew Hydroelectric Facility (?). Although artificial, the waterfall is interesting to view from the base of the Decew Falls gorge.
This waterfall is coded yellow because of the difficult terrain that needs to be crossed to reach it. NOTE: I understand that access to the base of the Decew gorge is currently off-limits. Please let me know if this has changed.
