This is a very small washboard section found perhaps 100 m upstream from the main waterfall at Felker's Falls. As far as I can tell, I named this site following my first visit to the big falls back in 2001. The name was added to my website and seems to have stuck, but there may be other local terms.
Access is via several informal little dirt paths that lead off the main trail above Felkers Falls. When flows are low, vistiors have made their way to the edge of the creek for great intimate shots. Getting your camera low to the ground is a great way to make small waterfalls look more impressive. Take your time to relax; you will soon find out that these tiny little secret falls are just as much fun as the big ones.
