Facebook GroupA small set of very low rapids and cascades just downstream from Eganville. This is the fifth and furthest upstream of the five chutes on the Bonnechere River.
Getting to river level for a photo is a challenge. Fortunately, you won't have to, as the town has errected a beautiful viewing location, with gazebo, on the east side of the river along Gristmill Rd. The ruins of concrete abutments for a long-lost bridge dominate the scene, but do add interest to photos.
If you have visited the site could you let me know if this waterfall is viewable by someone in a wheelchair? This web site maintains a crowd-sourced list of waterfalls that can be viewed by people with mobility challenges. Efforts to create the list were well received by members of the Facebook Group community.
