This is very, very small rapids that is going to disappoint most waterfall seekers. It's a pleasant and easy spot to visit, and makes for a nice little pit stop just 5 mins before reaching Wilsons Falls. It is called Bass Rock Rapids on some maps. There is a place to pull off for parking, and a big bare rock exposure (Bass Rock!) provides a handy natural viewing platform.
When the river is flowing well, these rapids are swamped and completely hidden. I believe that the rapids are only visible when flow is low.
