Please treat our outdoors and other visitors with respect. Many waterfalls have been closed to the public because of bad behaviour. Also, note that waterfalls are on the traditional lands of Canada's Indigenous Peoples.

Since 1999, 'Waterfalls of Ontario' (and its predecessor) has served as a free online resource for the Ontario waterfalling community. With grassroots input from people like YOU, together we have introduced thousands of people to the joy of waterfalling!

This was the first web site in Ontario to inventory and map waterfalls for visiting. (See archives from 2003 , 2012 and 2018).

The book 'Waterfalls of Ontario' was published by Firefly Books (© 2003, 2011, 2018, 2022) and has sold tens of thousands of copies. It was the first published resource to present an inventory of hundreds of waterfalls in Ontario that can be visited.
