Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.

Goulais River Falls is an awesome spot to visit. Almost completely untouched, wild and scenic. Whitman Dam Rd gets pretty rough after a while. It's wide enough for two logging trucks to pass, and fully covered in gravel, but the gravel turns to heavy cobbles the further you go.

This waterfall is coded as yellow because it is somewhat remote, along a little-used logging road. It's not hard to find, and the road is wide and well-maintained; it's the surface that is the issue. Low-clearance cars should avoid this route. Anyone visiting the site should expect to be alone for hours, if not most of the whole day.

This waterfall is featured in the 'Waterfalls of Ontario' book. Please pick up a copy to learn more. This helps to support this project. NOTE: There are no safety railings at this waterfall. Anyone that chooses to visit does so at their own risk.
