Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.
Warning: Waterfalls are dangerous - You aren't permitted to use this site unless you read, understand and accept the Website Disclaimer

This is a small, attractive cascade that is just a hundred metres north of Hwy 17. The creek runs just east of Harris Creek Rd at the settlement of Day Mills. There is no main drop, but rather a series of rapids and cascades, providing lots of photography opportunities.

A wide slide-type waterfall is found at the top of the run, though it has a low angle. Park on the side of Harris Creek Rd; the falls are immediately beside the creek.

It is my belief that the waterfalls are on a crown land strip along the river, and that this crown land meets the road allowance. I did not see any private property signs. Please heed any that may be posted. Remember, this web site does not give you permission to trespass.

Waterfalls of Ontario Project

This project has been online since 1999, in print since 2003, and on social since 2011. (See archives: 2003, 2012, 2018). It was the first to inventory and map Ontario's waterfalls for recreational purposes. With your continued help, it grows. Learn more...
