Watefalls of Ontario is a Book!

'Waterfalls of Ontario' © was first published by Firefly Books in 2003, and now for a fourth time in 2022. It was written by Mark Harris and illustrated by award-winning photographer, George Fischer.

One part guidebook and one part coffee table book, it gives directions, tips and honest reviews of about 150 of Ontario's best-known waterfalls. George's full-colour, full-page photos are found throughout and bring the book to life. The book also explains how and where waterfalls form, and includes maps and GPS coordinates.

You can purchase the book for $29.95 at major bookstores as well as smaller shops. It is often available at Provincial Parks stores, MEC, Costco, etc. Costco sometimes sells it at a discount.

Since 1999, 'Waterfalls of Ontario' (and its predecessor) has served as a free online resource for the Ontario waterfalling community. With grassroots input from people like YOU, together we have introduced thousands of people to the joy of waterfalling!

This was the first web site in Ontario to inventory and map waterfalls for visiting. (See archives from 2003 , 2012 and 2018).
