Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.

This waterfall was named after a coworker gave me a list of waterfalls that they encountered on a canoe trip somewhere around 2010-2015 (time flies when you work for the government...). I don't know what happened to the other 2 or 3 sites on the list!

But my odd name got carried through during when I uploaded the 5th or 6th generation of the website. I wasn't as meticulous for QA/QC back then. Now the site name is listed on Google Maps. The lesson here is that you should always do things right the first time; now we are stuck with this ridiculous placeholder name!

The falls are a long narrow slope cascade that twists down a rocky hill from Compass Lake to a small pond. I have not visited this site, as it requires a multi-day paddle to find it.
