Facebook GroupThis is one of the waterfalls in the Quetico Falls Chain. It's my understanding that this is one of the littlest falls in the area, no pun intended. I believe that it is more of a rapids. I have not visited this waterfall and don't yet have an image to share. Can you contribute one?
The Quetico Falls Chain is a well-known, multi-day paddling route. It leads paddlers past a series of small to medium waterfalls. If you like back-country camping and waterfalls, this is something to look into! It involves a number of portages and while not for the inexperienced, it is not really any more involved than a multi-day trip through Algonquin or Temagami.
The route usually starts at Saganagons Lake. It passes, in order from east to west, Four Falls, Baldrock Falls, Little Falls, Koko Falls, Canyon Falls, Kennebas Falls. None of these waterfalls are monsters, but all of them can be deadly and must be portaged. There are additional small rapids. This is beautiful, untouched north country.
