This is one of the better of the waterfalls in Muskoka that are off the beaten track. The hike is about 4 km each way and sets out from the east end of South Gibson Lake Rd. The falls are about 20 m wide and 6-8 m high. Set in completely natural surroundings, the long hike keeps it fairly pristine. The trail follows along the Gibson River for much of the route.
The waterfall is coded yellow because it is a longer hike than most. I cannot be sure about the condition of the trail. Thanks to Melissa Richardson for sharing the photo. Have you visited? Can you help to expand this description?
