Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.
Warning: Waterfalls are dangerous - You aren't permitted to use this site unless you read, understand and accept the Website Disclaimer

This cascade is found immediately downstream of a large concrete culvert that passes under Lakeshore Road. The MacKenzie River is a good size river; this is not a little corrugated metal pipe culvert. A steep cascade about 1-2 m high is found right at the outlet of this tunnel, while some more gentle rapids are found just a ways downstream.

Note that while the culvert and open space around the road are within the road allowance, the land further south is private. This includes both sides of the river. Land along MacKenzie Beach Road is posted as private. Anyone that chooses to explore this site must stay within close proximity to the road.

I have not visited this site yet; I've just driven by it. It appears that visitors might be able to park on the side of MacKenzie Beach Road and then hike down the grassy embankment along Lakeshore Road. As always, anyone that chooses to visit does so at their own risk.

Waterfalls of Ontario Project
