Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.
Warning: Waterfalls are dangerous - You aren't permitted to use this site unless you read, understand and accept the Website Disclaimer

While this falls was included in the first edition of our book, it was the first to go for the second and third. This isn't spectacular by any means and offers only limited visiting options. But it's still a pleasant scene and is easily visible as you cross the Hwy 28 bridge over the Little Mississippi River. I believe that the property on both sides of the river is private, so please don't trespass.

NOTE: Driving directions here will take you to a parking lot that is owned by a general store. This is not 'Free waterfall parking'. If you wish to park here, please support local business and purchase a snack for your journey. I did this before wandering down to see the falls. Anyone that chooses to cross the highway must use caution.

Waterfalls of Ontario Project

This project has been online since 1999, in print since 2003, and on social since 2011. (See archives: 2003, 2012, 2018). It was the first to inventory and map Ontario's waterfalls for recreational purposes. With your continued help, it grows. Learn more...
