This small waterfall strectes about 25 m across the Gull River, and falls two to three metres at most. I don't have much information about the waterfall. If my web page builds properly, you should be able to click on a link to an aerial drone video.
The waterfall is found in the little-explored area behind (west) of Lake Nipigon. Hwy 527 leads to this area, but requires a 2.5 hour drive north from Thunder Bay. At the north edge of the Gull River 55 First Nation, a narrow dirt road leads off the west side of the highway at coordinates 49.8561, -89.1559.
This narrow dirt road leads to an extensive of poor-quality back 'roads' that are probably only suitable for a jeep or a pickup truck. I believe that these roads may provide access to logging areas. One road that leads to Detour Lake comes within about 300 m of the falls.
This site is coded yellow because it is remote and difficult to access. Anyone that chooses to visit must do additional research on the route, and would visit at their own risk.
