This refers to two small washboard falls within about 30 m of each other. Neither is very photogenic, and it's pretty tough going to get down in front of them. Each falls is about 2 m high. One interesting feature is that the river flows over a bare expanse of the Rochester Shale (I think), forming some interesting (but very, very small) little step cascades.

These falls are about 200 m upstream of Mossy Falls. I wouldn't normally recommend visiting them on their own, but they can be found (with some effort) after visiting Mossy Falls, as long as time is not at a premium. NOTE: Like most of the waterfalls in the Short Hills, this waterfall dries up for much of the year. A visit in April is usually best.

This waterfall is coded yellow because it is difficult to visit. The gorge is not dangerously deep, but is confined and visitors would have to scramble over uneven ground and lots of broken rock. There is no trail to the falls.
