This is a decent-sized falls, but it can be hard to get a good picture due to tough angles. The terrain is very rugged, and heavily treed, with lots of fences. The top of the falls has been modified by a water level control dam, which holds back the reservoir pond in the park. Whlie difficult to photograph, it's still worth a look.
Visitors can walk across the top of the dam and peek into the surprisingly deep gorge. During low flow, this is a big empty chasm. It can be scary! Most people visiting the park will spend the majority of their time at the much more accessible Crystal Falls, within walking distance upstream.
