About Morgan Falls

This is a small to moderate sized cascade that is easily found, about 10 km east from Kenora. The river drops about 5 m at a 45 degree angle, landing in a shallow gravel and cobble-filled stretch immediately below the falls. Steep valley walls, crowned with spruce trees line the river as it makes its way downstream. From the Kenora airport, follow Road 671 (Jones Rd) about 5km to the river crossing. About 0.8 km later, a short laneway leads about 250 m down to the falls.
