While, the view from behind the falls is interesting (for a minute) it is the fact that you get access to this vantage point that makes the attraction worth the price of admission alone. It hides all evidence of civilization; you are at one with the king of waterfalls.
Be sure to use pay parking in the City of Niagara Falls. If you just pull over for a minute, you run the real risk of getting towed. And it will tie up traffic too! There is so much to see here, just bite the bullet and get a real parking spot.
