This small waterfall is interesting to explore. While you can't get out in front of it due to the presence of a pond, you can still get up close. It is formed by a small creek that winds its way through the woods, finally spilling over a 3 to 4 m high steep section right at the edge of the pond.
If you are a photographer, bring your widest lens, as it can be tough to get the whole thing in your frame. Getting to the vantage point shown here requires lowering yourself over some short steep rock outcrops.
This waterfall is found at the end of a short path that leads from Muskoka Rd 169. The small pond in front of the falls stretches to the road, and the path starts just to the west of the pond. Parking is limited, and anyone chosing to park on the side of the road must watch carefully for traffic.
Examination of maps shows that this property is coded as private property and is part of a large residential property. This trail is well established, and there are no signs to denote private property. So at minimum, it appears that access is tolerated.
Please heed any signs that may appear, or that I may have missed. Remember, this web site does not give you permission to trespass.
