I used to list this as Snow's Creek Falls, but was notified by users that the locals call it Owls Creek Falls. With a good head of water it's quite pretty, though quite small. It usually dries up by mid-summer.
It is located just behind the parking area, maybe just 10 m into the woods. If it isn't flowing, you won't even know it's there. Getting to the base is a bit of a challenge, but not impossible.
It is my understanding that the falls is now on publicly-owned lands, but please heed any signs that may appear in future. I didn't see one during my last visit in July 2021. A smaller falls, Hickory Creek Falls is located just 10 m down the road from the parking area. I've seen that one flowing well while Owl's Creek Falls is completely dormant.
This waterfall is marked yellow because it is more difficult to access. It is very close to the road, but there is no trail or only a weak trail, heavy brush and steep slopes.
