Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.

This is a small fan-shaped cascade found about 100 m upstream from the side road. It is visible from the road, at least when the leaves are off the trees. Of course, a better view is had by getting closer. I was able to reach the falls by following a narrow dirt (and mud!) trail along the west side of the river. The trailhead is very close to the river.

The trail follows the river and stays in close proximity the entire time. It eventually reaches a rock platform on the left, maybe 10 m downstream from the falls. This takes just 3 minutes.

While there are homes on either side of the valley, the Crown Land Atlas shows that the area along the river valley is on crown land. All the same, visitors should stay close to the river at all times and avoid hiking up to the private properties.

There is gravel 'parking lot' on the far side of the road. It isn't clear to me whether this was constructed by the township for visitors to the river, or whether it is someone's private lot. There were no signs. If you can't park here, you would have to park along the road.

Facebook group member J. Briell wrote that their mother-in-law grew up in the area. In the 1940s, she would go down to the creek to wash laundry. If you find any vintage clothes hidden in the rocks, let me know!
