About Percy Cascade
This is a small cascde right in the quaint village of Warkworth. Set next to an historic mill, the river is sadly constrained on either side by a concrete retaining wall. While this spoils the view, and may make accessing the stream bed impossible, the small falls are very easily viewed from the sidewalk along Church St. Warkworth was once known as Percy's Mills. I'm not sure, but the mill building beside Burnley Creek may be on the site of the original mill.
