About Pinaccle Rock Falls
A little-known waterfall (until recently!), this site does require a modest hike from the parking lot. It's a long way from the main parking lot for the Duncan Escarpment Provincial Park. However, there is a short cut parking area on the east side of the park... Look for the Townline Access Side Trail. Follow the trail into the woods, keeping to the right. You will eventually meet up with the main Bruce Trail. Stay right, follow the trail down to the base of the valley, and keep going until you reach the falls, passing the large Pinnacle Rock on your way. The falls are not large by any means, but they sure are pretty, and the reason for a great hike. They may dry up somewhat during summer. However, a pond and springs upstream should help to keep flow going for most of the year. NOTE: This falls is not within the Duncan Escarpment Provnicial Park; it is just beyond, but still along the Bruce Trail.
