Located only a few minutes' walk from High Falls on the Muskoka River. It's almost impossible to take a bad photograph at Potts. A rocky peninsula juts into the creek on the left bank (looking downstream), making a great place to set up tripod.
This waterfall is located in High Falls Park. If observing the main High falls, visitors turn left and walk along the paved drivewy for about 100 m. A narrow trail leads into the woods on the right side. This trail leads no more than 20 or 30 m to a footbridge over top of the falls. With care, visitors have descended into the rocky area below the falls on either side.
This waterfall is featured in the 'Waterfalls of Ontario' book. Please pick up a copy to learn more. This helps to support this project.
