Upper Princess Falls is more accessible than the much larger main falls. By following the Chedoke Rail Trails from the parking lot, visitors can walk right up to it. One can almost reach out and touch this falls. It actually seems fake at times, because is right next to the trail. But it's the real deal.
The falls has carved a tiny gorge in the rock face. The creek flows under the trail and pops out the other side at the crest of the main falls. The view of the valley is great from here; the view of the lower falls is almost non-existant.
