When they name a provincial park after the waterfall within it's boundary, you know it's going to be good. There are several different cascades along the river, all of which are easily visible from a sturdy boardwalk and viewing platforms. None of the falls is huge, and they can dry down significantly during a dry summer.
The driving directions lead to the park entrance. From late fall to early spring, the park is closed to vehicle access. Along with a few other visitors, I was still able to hike in from the highway. I kept to the left to reach the beach and falls. The road is paved and the total distance is about 1.2 km to the falls. During summer, park usersdrive to the parking lot. The falls is just 500 m further west.
