A small roadside rapids that is quite picturesque. It is visible from the roadside. Anyone wishing to get closer would have to scramble down a short, steep embankment. This is manageable only for active, dedicated adults.
Manouvering to get a clear photograph can be difficult due to heavy tree cover. I have only visited once but suspect that the flow is fairly consistent. This is because the river drains Redstone Lake, which is one of the larger lakes in Haliburton.
