About Redstone Rapids

A small roadside rapids that is quite picturesque. You can see it from the roadside, but to get to river level you will have to scramble down a steep embankment. Park on the west side of the road, in the wider gravel area just to the north. The falls are about 500 m south of Redstone Lake Rd. I have only visited once but suspect that the flow is fairly consistent. This is because the river drains Redstone Lake, which is one of the larger lakes in Haliburton.
