Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.
Warning: Waterfalls are dangerous - You aren't permitted to use this site unless you read, understand and accept the Website Disclaimer

This is an interesting little stop on the way to Crystal Falls. At medium to low flow, the Root River slices through a number of little rock notches. The overall fall is quite small, no more than a couple of metres. But this is one of those fun little places that people can safely walk about and explore, still while just being minutes their your car.

There is a rough driveway to a rough parking lot beside the falls. Some visitors park on the side of the road instead. If you chose to do this, you must use caution.

NOTE: I don't know if this property is privately owned or is now part of the road right of way. There is no residence on the property. It has been used by locals for years; every time I have visited there has been at least one other person wandering around. There were no signs again when I last visited in spring, 2023.

Remember, this website does not give you permission to trespass.
